Auckland, 13 June 2018 – IDC and Conferenz congratulate this year’s winners in the CIO Awards held tonight in Auckland. The Awards recognise the individuals and teams who have shown leadership, innovation and foresight in their contribution to ICT and business.

Winners were announced tonight at a glittering Gala Dinner on Auckland’s waterfront at the ANZ Viaduct Events Centre in front of a record attendance of 950 senior IT professionals.

The Awards were supported by Dell EMC, ClearPoint, Halo Consulting, Sharp, TechnologyOne, The University of Auckland Business School and Juniper Networks.

Highlights include:

Avi Golan, Chief Digital Officer at Air New Zealand named as CIO of the Year, and;

Ian Taylor named for his outstanding contribution to business and technology in New Zealand.
