There are plenty of different funding options available ranging from bank loans to online investment, venture capital and private equity. To learn the answers to these questions, join national intellectual property specialists James & Wells at Turning Innovation into Gold: Attracting Investment, a nationwide seminar series. The series will see James & Wells team up with successful entrepreneurs and investment providers to answer funding questions and provide practical advice on how to get investment ready.

James & Wells Managing Partner and seminar series panelist Carrick Robinson says “Raising capital is a major growth challenge for many New Zealand businesses. Knowing where and how to attract investment can be difficult. The Turning Innovation into Gold seminar series will provide businesses with the information needed to make an informed decision about what investment options will be right for them.”

With support from regional hubs including Christchurch Chamber of Commerce, Export New Zealand Bay of Plenty, Waikato Innovation Park, and Innovation Council, the series has secured speakers from a range of venture capital, private equity and crowd funding providers. Speakers from ANZ Bank, NZTE, James & Wells will complete the panel.

The event will be MC’d by Penelope Barr-Sellers.

• Tauranga: Tuesday 6 March, Trinity Wharf Hotel, Tauranga CBD;

• Hamilton: Wednesday 7 March, Waikato Innovation Park; C

• Christchurch: Tuesday 20 March, Canterbury Employers Chamber of Commerce, 57 Kilmore St, Christchurch CBD; and

• Auckland: Wednesday 21 March, Auckland University of Technology, Sir Paul Reeves Building, Governor Fitzroy Place, Auckland CBD.
