[January 11, 2018 – Hong Kong] Ms. Kerrie Mather, President of ACI Asia-Pacific, will retire from her position effective 31 January 2018.

Ms. Mather recently announced her retirement as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Sydney Airport due to take effect at the end of January 2018.

Ms. Mather has served on the ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Board since September 2011 and was elected President in April 2016 for a term of 2 years.

In accordance with the ACI Asia-Pacific Bylaws Article 11.5, Mr. Lee Seow Hiang, currently First Vice President of ACI Asia-Pacific and Chief Executive Officer of Changi Airport Group will serve as President of ACI Asia-Pacific for the unexpired portion of the term of the retiring President.

Mrs. Patti Chau, Regional Director of ACI Asia-Pacific said, “On behalf of the Regional Board and ACI, I wish to thank Kerrie for her guidance, wisdom and strategic vision in leading ACI Asia-Pacific. We wish her the very best in her future endeavors. Together with the Board, we look forward to working closely with our incoming President, Mr. Lee, in developing ACI Asia-Pacific to advance the collective interests of our members.”

ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Board is a governing body which determines the overall development strategy of ACI Asia-Pacific region. The Board is composed of 25 aviation business leaders across the Asia-Pacific region.
