Our summer schedule of extra rubbish and recycling collections across much of the Coromandel ends tomorrow – Saturday 11 February. Our normal schedule of one collection a week resumes on Monday 13 February.

Most areas have already had their final extra collection of the summer Kerbside period, but Whangamata, Onemana & Opoutere and Pauanui have one last collection on Saturday 11 February.

Whangamata and Onemana & Opoutere have rubbish, wheelie bin and glass collections; Pauanui has rubbish and glass collections.

Please put your rubbish and recycling out by 9am if you’re in these areas. if you’re not in those areas but have rubbish and recycling to dispose of, remember you can drop off rubbish in official Council blue bags (available at dairies and supermarkets) and recycling for FREE at any of our seven Refuse Transfer Stations (RTS) in the Coromandel.

They are all open from 10:30am to 5:30pm on Saturday and from 10:30am to 6:30pm on Sundaythis weekend and every weekend through February.
