A toddler who was struck and killed by a car in Turner Drive, Rotorua yesterday can now be identified as Tyrese Hill, aged 16 months, from Taupo.

The incident occurred shortly after 5.30pm as a female relative of Tyrese left the address in a vehicle.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
