Politicians are supposed to handle the governance issues – they should leave management to the staff at the ministry. So the problem will never be fixed by Mr Joyce – he’s only there to claim some kudos if things go well and to spin good news stories out of the whole fiasco.

A year ago the same ministr was instructed to make us all feel good about mining and oil exploration – and he failed there as well!
