• The motorway was closed in both directions just after 1.30pm
• It was re-opened a few minutes after 4pm, except for the on and off ramps at Squadron Drive.
• The Squadron Drive interchange was re-opened at about 5pm.
• The cycleway that runs alongside the motorway remains closed, and is likely to be closed tomorrow (Friday) because of storm debris
