Cambridge, Te Awamutu and Tokoroa now able to connect to Ultrafast Fibre network

Ultrafast Fibre Ltd has announced that the first premises in Cambridge, Te Awamutu and Tokoroa central business districts are now able to connect to the local fibre network to receive ultra-fast broadband services.

Ultrafast Fibre Ltd CEO, Maxine Elliott, says, “This week we’ve reached a significant milestone in our construction programme: the first premises in Cambridge, Te Awamutu and Tokoroa are now able to connect to our network and start experiencing the benefits of ultra-fast broadband.”

Telecommunications retailer, CallPlus, announced earlier this week that it is the first telecommunications retailer to begin selling ultra-fast broadband services to business customers in the three towns.

“We expect additional retailers will also begin selling services in these three towns over the coming months. A list of retailers will be updated and listed on our website,” she explained.”

Ms Elliott said connecting is as simple as a phone call.

“If your property is eligible to connect to our network, all you need to do is phone a broadband retailer that is selling in the region, and they can get you up and going.“

Construction of the Ultrafast Fibre network in Cambridge, Te Awamutu and Tokoroa began earlier this year and was started in the central business districts. The company will progressively roll out fibre to other sections of the three towns over the next four years.
