Water supply to parts of Wadestown in Wellington is currently off following a water main burst in Lennel Road – one of the main routes through the suburb.

Traffic is down to one lane at the intersection of Lennel Road, Sefton Street and Oban Streets while contractors repair the 200mm-diameter pipe. Motorists can expect delays in this evening’s rush hour.

It is expected that water supply will be resumed at about 7 o’clock tonight.
